It's been a while since I've updated the blog. Thus, there are quite a few pictures. The day before Halloween we carved pumpkins with the kids at Chesley's house-our neighbor and good friends. The kids enjoyed the ooey-gooey insides of the pumpkin. We stuck to the simple jack-0-lantern but the Bakers were a bit more ambitious doing a bat and a scary face. Thank goodness for neighbors when the hubby is gone. There are also pictures from Halloween. Since then Curtis has finally come home and my parents came for a visit. We had so much fun with them. We had a girls night out, with dinner and shopping, the Holly Day Craft Fair, some football, playing cards, High School Musical 3 movie and dinner out for me and Curtis. Oh, did I mention Hayden has had chicken pox for the last 2 weeks? I have no idea how it happened or where it came from. It started with a scab on the head. He has had the vaccine and somehow so far we've managed for Arabella and Tate to not get it. Anyways, it's almost over and we're gearing up for Thanksgiving. We're so excited to be going to Gatlinburg to the Smokey Mountains, to stay in a cabin with our great friends, the Lloyds and the Millers. There will be 8 kids there, ranging from 4 months -6years old. It should be crazy but tons of fun!

We started Halloween out with an All Saints Parade at Hayden's preschool. The classes gathered in the santuary and sang a bunch of songs together, complete with motions of course. Then they had a parade through the courtyard for the parents followed by pizza in the classrooms. They did a great job singing. Unfortunately Hayden was right in front of the choir director and I was unable to get many good photos of him. Here 's a few from the day.

My girly girl. Arabella's wearing a dress we had made back home. I love all of the cutsie stuff. I know it's not going to last much longer. She wants to wear more of the grown up looking clothes. It sure is fun dressing a girl. I don't need another one or Curtis will be broke. Here's pictures of the kids dressed up for Halloween. Hayden and Tate are Tom and Jerry. Through their daddy, this has become their favorite cartoon. They love cuddling up on the couch with Curtis and watching it most nights. Arabella was Hannah Montana. She had a wig, but her hair was so close to the wig, I just let her go with it. She of course loved putting on makeup. They had so much fun. We did our trick or treating back at our old neighborhood of Biazza Ridge. They had so much fun with all of the other kids. The crew of kids from Biazza Ridge.

After trick or treating we went back to our friends, Teresa and Tom's house for a Halloween party. Of course the kids dived into their candy. Teresa also had all kinds of good food for the "big kids." We had so much fun visiting with all of our old friends from Biazza Ridge. The kids all had a blast playing with each other again.
