1st day of Kindergarten!

My baby is growing up way too fast! Today was Arabella's 1st day of Kindergarten. It's so hard to believe she'll be gone all day to school. I know the time with less kids will be nice but I already miss her and she's only been gone an hour. (plus she is good at managing these boys and they're already into everything!) She was so excited to go to Kindergarten. She's been asking for 3 days when she could go to school. She was quite happy about getting to ride the bus to and from school. I wish her all the best today and everyday of Kindergarten. She's absolutely the sweetest child. Congratulations Arabella!

Going to the woods...most of you know one of our family activities we love most is hiking in the woods. This is at Raven Rock, a park not too far from here. We took the kids hiking this weekend and let them play in the creek. They had so much fun throwing rocks and splashing around. Curtis is determined for them to be outdoor lovers.

I finally did it!

So I finally decided to create a blog for our family. Many of my friends have them and its great for keeping family and friends up to date on what's going on in our lives. So here's my first update. Wednesday turned out to be quite an eventful day for us. One of our friends from church had her 4th baby. (Everyone around here has at least 3 kids!) So while she was at the hospital my neighbor Leigh and I took care of their kids as well as another neighbors kids. So we had 11 kids between our 2 houses. We took a pictures to capture the chaos. Last week our friend Matt and Jody came and stay for a few days. We played Wii so much that we spent 2 days looking for them a Wii to take home. At one point Matt, Jody, Curtis and I were all playing together. It felt like old times in El Paso. I'm so glad they've moved closer to us. Arabella just finished level 2 swimming lessons this morning. Not only did she learn to swim better, but now she can dive and do a front flip off the diving board. She's quite fearless in the water. So one more week of "summer" and its back to school. I'll post pictures then once school and activities start.
